Treat the Planet Right

Air pollution

In general, many people think that we have not treated our planet right. Between water pollution, air pollution, and land pollution, they may be right. In direct correlation to these things, we are starting to see global warming. Many natural habitats for animals are either in danger, or completely gone. Mankind has made their mark on the earth, and unfortunately, this mark is not only deadly to plants and creatures, but to mankind itself, as well.

Unless more people take a stand against pollution and waste, we may not have time to turn it around. Plants and animals die by the droves because of smog. The smog is the largest contributor to global warming. Global warming is causing problems in our oceans, which kills the ocean life. It is a big circle, and at the center of it all is mankind.

There are many things that we can do to keep from continuing on a path of death and destruction. Many people have found that following the “green” movement is a great way to not only help the planet, but themselves as well. When you ride your bike to work, instead of driving, you help the world and your body. Not only do you keep from contributing to the air pollution which feeds the greenhouse effect, you also are getting in some great exercise. Many people today have decided to only purchase organic foods, or fruits and vegetables that were grown without the use of growth hormones or pesticides. The fewer pesticides used, the less water pollution we will have. Many times, the pesticides that are used in our food run off of the plants and into nearby bodies of water. This is dangerous to ourselves and the environment.

So, if you are interested in helping the earth thrive, consider looking into greener options for your everyday life. Help the environment, help yourself.
